Recall Alert: Nissan Sentra

Spread the love

Nissan has issued a recall order for about 5,500 Sentra sedans from the 2020 model year because their right headlights may be aimed too high to help drivers see the road properly.

Normally, even moderately skilled home mechanics can fix a poorly-aimed headlight. But Nissan says this problem is not a simple matter of mounting the headlight differently. Something is misaligned inside the headlight assembly itself.

So dealers will fix it by replacing the right headlight assembly entirely. Recall repairs are free.

Automakers recall many cars to fix safety defects, sometimes more than once. While automakers try to reach every owner to ask them to bring the vehicle in for repair, they rarely reach them all. Millions of vehicles on American roads need free recall repairs. To find out if your car is one of them, check the easy VIN tool at our recall center.
